Adopted!
Hello - my name is Etta James. I’m about 10 months old, friendly, and apparently quite a pretty girl, since my foster mom calls me Midnight Beauty - she even gave me this really cool, pink light-up collar that I wear when we walk at night so everybody can see me!
Being in a house is still pretty new to me as I spent time in a shelter as a puppy. I’m a bit shy, but my foster family has been helping me to gain my confidence, and I have learned so much in such a short time! I am house trained, I can use a doggy door, I know basic commands like sit, stay, and come, and I never counter surf or beg for food!
I LOVE being outside and meeting all the new people and dogs in my neighborhood. I am good with dogs of all sizes and have been around kids five and up with no issues. My foster mom says I walk very well on a leash, and I am such a polite young lady she even allows me to sleep in her bed (but I do know better than to get up on the new couch).
I think my ideal home would have another dog that I could play with and would help show me the ropes. But, if you are willing to be patient with me while I adjust, I just might become your best friend!
