About us

MLRR is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned Labrador Retrievers.  All rescued Labs are placed in foster homes where they can be evaluated for temperament and level of training before being adopted.

MLRR services the Chicago Metropolitan Area, defined by the following counties:

Out of area applications will be considered on a case by case basis. Please note that if approved, the entire family, including resident pets will need to travel to the Chicago area to pickup their Labrador and finalize the adoption.
