At Midwest Labrador Retriever Rescue, we understand that life circumstances can change. Whether you're a loving owner making the difficult decision to surrender your Lab, a shelter staff member seeking placement for a Labrador, or a veterinarian with a Lab in need, we're here to support you.

We take in Labs from shelters, veterinary offices, and private homes when a safe, permanent home is no longer an option. As a foster-based rescue, our ability to help depends on the availability of foster homes. While we may not always be able to take your Lab immediately, we will do everything we can to connect you with trusted resources or another safe placement. Unfortunately, we do not currently have the resources to take in Labradors who display aggression or have a bite history.
