Meet Zoey, a sweet, 6-year-old yellow Lab, came to us from a shelter in heartbreaking condition. Years of neglect left her with severe skin infections, painful sores, and the loss of nearly 90% of her fur. Despite her discomfort and fragile state, Zoey’s spirit shines through—she still wags her little tail when she’s gently petted and gives the softest kisses in return.

The moment we heard about Zoey, we knew we had to act. Midwest Labrador Rescue brought her into a loving foster home and began treatment immediately. She’s now safe, cared for, and finally on the road to healing—but it’s a long journey ahead.
