Originally from Louisiana, I recently moved to Illinois after raising a beautiful litter of puppies. My babies have all found (or are finding) wonderful homes, which means it’s finally my turn to find a family of my own 🏡🐾
I absolutely adore people, attention, food, and then even more people! I’m happiest when I’m close to my humans—whether that’s curled up on the couch, riding along in the car, relaxing on a dog bed nearby, or simply following you around the house to keep you company ❤️
My foster family thinks I once had a loving home because I have wonderful manners. I’m fully house trained, walk beautifully on a leash, and have a calm, patient personality that doesn’t get rattled easily. I get along great with other dogs, have done wonderfully with children, and I’m not much of a barker—just a quick alert if I hear something outside. I even happily jumped into my foster family’s granddaughters’ kiddie pool, so I’m always up for a little fun! 💦😄
Life hasn’t always been kind to me, but you’d never know it from my wagging tail and happy spirit. My foster mom says I’m a joy to have around the house. Just one small warning: if you leave bread or treats on the counter, I may decide they belong to me... because carbs are one of my favorite things! 🍞😂
I’m currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and am expected to make a full recovery 💪. For now, I’m sticking to leash walks and taking it easy while I heal, but once I’m cleared, I’ll be ready to enjoy more adventures with my forever family.
Now that my puppies are starting their own journeys, I’m ready to settle down, be spoiled, and enjoy the good life I deserve. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will always be by your side, I’d love the chance to meet you ❤️🐶
