Hi, I'm Chance! I'm a sweet puppy with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggling. If you're looking for a best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side, I just might be your guy.
My story started a little mysteriously. I was found by animal control, and everyone says it's hard to believe I didn't belong to a family at some point because I'm such a well-mannered boy. Whatever my past was, I'm ready to find my forever home and make new memories with a family of my own.
I'm a sweet, gentle soul who gets along wonderfully with adults, kids, and other dogs. I've been living with my fur foster sister, Lola, and have been a perfect gentleman. Honestly, this bio doesn't do justice to just how wonderful I am—my foster family loves me so much, and so does Lola!
I'm potty trained, have never had an accident in the house, and I'm great in my crate. I also ride nicely in the car and walk beautifully on a leash—my foster family says I'm one of the easiest dogs they've ever walked!
Like any puppy, I have some energy to burn and enjoy playtime, but overall I'm calm, easygoing, and eager to please. I love toys, but I should probably confess one thing: shoes are my absolute favorite "toy." So if you adopt me, you may want to keep those safely out of reach!
I'm still learning my puppy manners and commands. I know "sit" and am working hard on learning more every day. I'm a smart boy and really want to make my people happy.
I don't bark much, and while I can be a little shy when meeting new people, I warm up quickly once I know you're kind. New environments, people, and dogs can sometimes make me a little timid at first, but I've been making great progress. My foster family has been taking me places, helping me meet new people and dogs, and showing me the world. Having Lola by my side has helped me gain confidence, and seeing her interact with new things has taught me that the world isn't such a scary place after all.
Because of that, my foster family would love to see me in a home with a friendly, confident dog who can be my buddy and mentor. But if I'm your one and only pup, that's okay too! I'd just love a family that will continue introducing me to new experiences, taking me on adventures, and helping me build my confidence.
My foster family says I have the sweetest eyes, and honestly, all I really want is someone to love me as much as I'll love them.
