Tahoe

Tahoe is a beautiful, 2-year-old, 75-pound black lab with a heart as sweet as her golden ember eyes. This laid-back girl is the perfect blend of calm and loving, and she’s sure to win you over with her gentle nature. Tahoe adores her people and would thrive in a home where she can be a cherished member of the family. She enjoys being near her humans and would love nothing more than to spend her days hanging out by your side.

Though Tahoe is still getting the hang of socializing with other dogs, she’s making progress. She does best with slower introductions and would be happiest around other low-energy dogs who share her calm demeanor. Tahoe prefers to observe rather than engage in play with other pups, content to lay back and watch the action from a comfy spot.

This independent gal is very responsive to training and takes direction well. She’s eager to learn, and with a little patience and consistency, Tahoe is learning basic commands like "sit.” She’s already potty trained and crate trained, and she’s working on refining her recall. Tahoe is also getting back to a healthy weight, so regular walks and exercise will be important for her ongoing well-being.
