People always say, “Look at that dog—she’s smiling!” So… the name kinda stuck.
I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once I get to know you, I’m all love. My favorite things? Ear scratches, belly rubs, and being close to my human.
I walk like a dream on a leash—no pulling, no chasing squirrels. I prefer to stroll calmly and take in all the wonderful smells of the world. My foster dad says I’m the perfect walking buddy.
When I’m home alone, you don’t need to worry about me—I don’t chew, I don’t get into trouble, and I always keep the house clean (okay… I might borrow a sock or shoe to carry to my bed, but I promise not to hurt it). I know my manners and I never go potty inside.
At night, I love curling up next to the bed on my blanket. I sleep soundly, and even if I get up for a quick drink of water, I’m back to bed in no time.
I’ve lived with a pack before and did great, but I’m also perfectly happy being your one and only. I just want to be someone’s big, sweet best friend.
