Hi there! My name is Oso, which means “Bear,” and it’s the perfect name for me because I’m basically a big, cuddly teddy bear!
I’m almost 2 years old (my birthday is in October) and while I still have some puppy energy, I’m pretty calm and well-mannered, especially for my age. I’m house-trained, love lounging by your side while you work, and I’m always up for a good cuddle on the couch.
Now, let’s talk about toys. I LOVE them. Like, really love them. Chewing, playing, tossing them around — toys are my jam. But don’t worry, I also know how to chill and just hang out too.
I enjoy walks, spending time outside, and meeting new friends, both human and canine. I’m very friendly and people always say how sweet and "chill" I am! I can get a little excited when meeting new friends (can you blame me?), so I do best with slow introductions. I get along wonderfully with my senior foster sister, and I’ve met other dogs with no issues at all.
Even though I’m a good boy already, I’m still young and eager to keep learning. I’d love a family who can continue training with me so I can be the very best version of myself.
One more thing: I recently had hip surgery in July. I’m still in recovery and will need a family that’s dedicated to helping me continue getting stronger. Right now, I’m allowed to take short walks (which I love) and I’m making great progress every day. With some time, patience, and a little extra TLC, I’ll be back to full strength and feeling as good as new soon!
My foster mom says I’m amazing when left home alone. I just hang out calmly with my foster sister. I’m a respectful, sweet, and loving pup who’s ready to find my forever home.
