Honey

Adopted!

Hi - my name is Honey and everybody says I’m sweet as honey, too.

I used to live in Tennessee and it seemed like all I ever did was have puppies. Do you know how hard it is to take care of a bunch of Lab puppies? I was exhausted, but I’m done with that now and I’m ready to kick back and be a dog of leisure in a forever home.

My favorite thing is being hugged and petted. I love all humans and just want to be loved back. At first, I wasn't really sure how to be a playful dog. However, I turned a big corner last week. Maybe you saw my video on social media? I am now playing like a normal, relaxed Lab!!! It feels great. I am so thankful that MLRR has fosters to help Labs like me. Now I play with my fur siblings AND love on the people:) I am told that is a win win!

Sometimes my foster people take me to the woods or to the lake for long walks. You wouldn’t believe all the great smells! The ride in the car is great, too.

You don’t have to lock me up in a crate; I’m a trustworthy gal and would never make a mess in your house when I’m left alone. I definitely would never go potty in your house, which I know will make you happy. I sleep all night next to my human’s bed. Even though I smell all kinds of wonderful things on the counter and the table, I know not to jump up and look or beg for food.

So, if you’re looking for a soft, gentle, and friendly doggie, then I’m your girl!
