Adopted!
Hello nice people! My name is Holly aka Holly Dolly, Holly Berry, or whatever! My foster humans have lots of goofy nicknames for me. I don't care what they call me, as I'll always come running to them with my tail wagging and a big smile. That's because the good folks at MLRR swooped in and rescued me from a really crummy life.
You might remember seeing my picture during the holidays when I arrived with lots of flea bites and sores. But that was then, this is now! Just look at my gorgeous self these days! Beautiful soft fur that is just right for lots of snuggling and petting, which I love.
From the moment I arrived at my new foster home, I felt safe. I said hello to the humans and their dog with lots of kisses and wiggles. My foster fur sister was very welcoming and we were instant BFF's. She has a ton of toys, balls and very comfy dog beds, which I never had before. I follow her around, and she has helped me figure out the routine around here.
I had lots of things to learn, like how to eat and drink out of bowls, walk on a leash, explore the fenced yard and cuddle on the couch with the humans. I am a quick study, especially when it comes to doing my business outside-duh! I'm a bit timid and may bark a little when people come visit. But after a few minutes, I will be by your side looking for some love.
My foster mom has worked with me on walking daily around the neighborhood. We live on a quiet street, which has helped me while I learn about my new surroundings. I look to her for reassurance (and treats!) to help me with my confidence. I just love my walks now!
My foster mom wants you all to know that writing about me has been super easy. Apparently, I am the total package, whatever that means! She has described me as calm, happy, friendly, submissive, cuddly and wiggly. She said my furever family needs to provide me with lots of individual love and attention so I can forget about the past and feel safe with you!
