Hi! I'm Bud and I can't wait to find my forever best friend!
I might be a little timid when we first meet, but once I get a sniff or two in, I’ll warm right up and show you my sweet side. I love being close to my people and will happily follow you around the house, or curl up nearby when it’s time to relax.
Walks are one of my favorite things. I’m great on the leash and don’t pull, though I might get excited if a rabbit hops by. I also enjoy a good game of fetch with a tennis ball. Sometimes I bring it back, other times I think keep-away is more fun!
When we’re not playing, I love nothing more than a good belly rub. I’m gentle with kids, friendly with other dogs, and have a mild, easygoing personality. I already know “sit,” “lay down,” and “come,” and I’m working on “stay.” I am still learning some manners in the kitchen—if food is left on the counter, I might try to sneak a taste, but I’m catching on quickly and I know the “off” command.
I’m also crate trained and getting more comfortable when my person leaves the house—sometimes I might whine for a few minutes at first, but then I settle down nicely. I do great in the car, too!
Overall, I’m a playful, loyal companion who loves spending time with my people, whether it’s outside exploring or inside lounging by your side. If you’re looking for a dog who will stick by you and bring lots of love into your home, I might just be the perfect match!
