Hi there! I’m Ellie, and I just turned 10 months old on the 3rd—can you believe it? I’m still very much a big puppy (about 65 lbs of love and wiggles), and I’m learning more every day!
I’m a super happy girl ❤️ — my tail basically has a mind of its own! I love going for walks in my freedom harness, and I'm getting better and better at it. I already know some basic commands, and right now, I’m working on learning “paw” (as long as you have treats—deal?).
Speaking of paws… mine are huge! Everyone says I have big feet to grow into. I’ve got lots of energy to play (tug is my favorite, especially with stuffed animals!), but if you redirect me or give me a job to do, I settle down pretty quickly. I’m also really good at chasing tennis balls inside the house—just try and keep up!
I live with another dog, Max (he's almost 8), and we get along great. I’m also very curious about the cat here… I watch him with interest, but always under supervision, of course. I’m a power chewer—only my toys, though! Human stuff? No thanks. But if you give me peanut butter? OH YES. That’s the way to my heart.
Snuggles? 1000% yes. If you let me, I’ll curl up and fall asleep right in your lap. I only had one accident in the house on my very first day (oops!), but now I know how to tell you I need to go out—I head right to the door!
My original owners said I was crate trained, but didn’t give a lot of details. My foster mom crated me for a few days while at work (I got two dog-walker breaks, 3.5 hours apart), and I did just fine. At night, I sleep soundly without a crate.
We’re working on getting my waistline back, and guess what? I think it’s starting to show—my foster mom said she saw an indentation this morning 🎉
So yeah… I’m still learning, still growing, and just trying to be the best girl I can be. Plus, I’m beautiful—just saying.
