I'm a big guy, but don't let my size fool you. I'm really just an oversized puppy who's curious about absolutely everything. My nose is basically my full-time job. I'll happily inspect the same spot I've sniffed a hundred times before because... well... what if it smells different today? Science. 🐶👃
When my foster mom is home, life is the best! I love playing fetch, chasing my rubber bones, carrying around my favorite Kong (food optional!), and zooming around the yard like I've just won the lottery. If guests come over, even better! More people means more pets, more attention, and more reasons to celebrate with a few happy zoomies. I get so excited that I might jump up to say hello or get a little mouthy, but I'm learning my manners and respond well to gentle reminders.
When everyone's busy, I'm perfectly happy relaxing on the couch, watching the neighborhood from the window like it's my own reality TV show. I may announce when someone I don't recognize walks by. Someone has to keep an eye on the neighborhood. 🏡👀
I'm potty trained, sleep like a champ on the couch without a crate, and I'm learning that this house is my house, so I don't need to mark it anymore. I'm also a smart boy who already knows sit and shake, and thanks to one of my favorite things in the world... 🧀 cheese... I'm learning new tricks every day! We're working on leash manners, wiping my paws after adventures, and staying focused on walks.
Speaking of walks... I LOVE them! Sometimes I get a little too excited when I see other dogs because I really want to go introduce myself. My foster mom uses a special harness while we practice being polite, and I'm making progress every day.
One thing you'll quickly learn about me is that I absolutely love being outside. If a door is left open, I may decide an adventure is calling my name, so I'll need a family that's careful and keeps me safely by their side.
