Hi there! I’m Sona, the chocolate lab you’ve been waiting for—and trust me, I’m ready to steal your heart! At 6 years old, I still have plenty of spunk and a love for adventure. Whether it’s exploring on a walk or sniffing around the backyard, being outside is my happy place. That said, I’m also a certified cuddle bug who loves snuggling, giving kisses, and pretending I’m a 75-pound lap dog (yes, really!). And when it’s time to relax, I’m all about that chill life.
I’m looking for my forever family to shower me with love—and I promise to give it all back and then some. I’m learning new things every day and have already made fantastic progress. My foster family says I walk well on a leash, especially since I didn’t have much experience before, and I love to sniff and explore everything around me. This will be so important for keeping up with my new family because I have some weight to lose. I’m fantastic in the crate at home and can even be left out without issues. I sleep soundly through the night, and you won’t catch me barking—I’ve been super quiet, with just a couple of whines early on that quickly stopped.
When it comes to car rides, I’m a dream passenger. I just lay down and enjoy the journey. I haven’t played with toys much yet, but I’ve been curious about playing with my foster sibling. I’m still figuring out how to join in, especially since I’ve been taking it easy after my spay. My eating habits? Well, I can be a little picky. I love grilled chicken and wet food mixed with kibble. Sometimes, I’ll sort through the kibble pieces, but I’m working on that!
I may still be learning, but I have so much love to give. I’m ready to find my forever family and share all my snuggles, tail wags, and adventures. Could that be you?
