If you're looking for a dog with a sunny disposition, I am the girl for you! I love to run and play but I am also a very mellow and cuddly little girl. I had surgery on my right elbow shortly after arriving at MLRR but I am so much better now. And the more I walk, the stronger my right leg will become. I limp sometimes but it does not slow me down at all. Did I mention that I like to take walks? I also love to sit outside in the yard watching the birds and squirrels. I love other dogs, too, and like to play with my 110-pound foster fur brother. Oh yeah, I LOVE it when the neighborhood kids come into my fenced yard to play with me!
I also LOVE to cuddle - if you're on the couch, I want to sit right next to you and even on top of you because I have so much love to give!! I do like to have plenty of soft toys or chews around to keep me occupied when I'm not with you or outside playing. Full disclosure - I have been known to chew on a slipper or shoe if I don't have an appropriate distraction but I just know my forever home will be sure I have tons of toys to play with!
Bonus! I am potty trained AND fully crate trained! My foster mom refers to my crate as my "homey," and I sleep there at night with blankets and toys. I also run right in my crate when my foster mom needs to leave the house. I don't mean to brag but my foster mom says that I am the sweetest little girl because I am cuddly, affectionate and nice to everyone, people and dogs.
