I’m the ultimate cuddle buddy and will happily climb into your lap or snuggle up next to you in bed. My foster mom says I could be trained to sleep on the floor or couch, but honestly… we both love the nighttime snuggles.
I’m very loyal and follow my people everywhere — I’m basically your built-in shadow. I walk beautifully on a leash and get super excited for walks! Other animals don’t bother me at all when I’m out and about. At home, I live with another big dog and we play like crazy, but I know how to settle down and nap when it's time. I really am the best of both worlds.
I do get a little humpy sometimes, but a quick "no" is all I need to stop — and don’t worry, I’ll be neutered before coming home with you!
I have some allergies, but they’ve improved a lot with medication and will be manageable long-term with proper care. I also drink a LOT of water (so my foster family keeps a towel under my bowl!) and I absolutely LOVE ice cubes — if you’re getting some from the fridge, I’ll be right there waiting for my share.
When my foster family leaves, I hang out with the other dogs and don’t need to be crated. I eat separately just to avoid food sharing, but I’m very well-mannered. I’m super gentle when taking treats and love a little extra like cheese or chicken in my food.
I enjoy playing fetch and am great at dropping the ball — then my foster brother steals it and we turn it into a game of chase! Loud noises outside make me a bit nervous, but I’ll stick close and feel better near my people. I even slept through a thunderstorm once!
I may bark when I see someone in the yard — just doing my job to let you know! I’m a little shy with new people, especially men, and may have a little "nervous pee" at first, but once I warm up (especially with my person nearby), I’m just fine.
I haven’t had many car rides lately, but I used to go camping a lot in my previous home and loved it — I think I’d really enjoy more adventures! My foster mom has fostered 15 dogs and says I’m her favorite — a kind, gentle giant who just wants to be your very best friend.
