Hi Everybody My name is Seamus and I’m just a baby looking for a new home! As I started to grow, my mom decided that she couldn't handle a puppy and decided to send me to MLRR to find the best home!
When people see me, they say “that’s one big puppy.” My foster dad tells me that I’m a good dog all the time. I guess that’s because even though I’m only 8 months old, I know a bunch of stuff. I know how to sit and wait when you tell me to. A little treat helps a lot with that. I love treats!
I also know to sit and wait for my dog food. I love dog food! When my foster dad leaves me home alone, he puts a frozen Kong with peanut butter inside in my crate. I go right in and lay down with that Kong. I love peanut butter!
At bedtime I would sleep in the crate or on my dog bed, but what I really like is getting in bed with my favorite human. I sleep all night without making a sound. I love sleeping! I know to never potty in the house which makes everyone happy.
When we go for walks around the neighborhood, I try not to pull my human around but I am still learning! I mostly have to be reminded to keep walking because of all the fascinating smells that I have to take in.
I really like meeting people and getting hugged and petted. I love hugs and pets! I like my stuffed animal toys and I don’t chew them to pieces. What’s the point in that? I’m learning to bring the ball back and drop it but that’s a little tough.
Once again, a little treat helps with that. So, if you’re looking for a big, soft, and friendly puppy to be your best friend, I hope I’m the one for you.
