I’m a young gal and I’ve already been on quite the journey. Things were a little confusing for me for a while, but now I’m safe, loved, and learning what it means to just be a happy dog 🏡✨
The first thing you should know about me is that I really, really love my people 🥰 I might be a little unsure at first in a brand new place, but once I realize I’m safe, I settle in quickly and become the sweetest, most loyal companion. My favorite place is truly wherever you are 🐶❤️
I have a calm personality with a gentle kind of love 💕 I’m not over-the-top—I just like to be near you, whether that’s relaxing with you on the couch, following you from room to room, or curling up nearby at night 🛏️ I sleep really well and love having a cozy spot close to my humans (preferably in your bed, but my own bed in your room is great too) 😴
Every once in a while, I will get an energy burst with full body wiggle excitement to see and be near you -- though I can control that quickly after sufficient pets 😌
I’m also learning all about routines, and I do best when things are predictable. I’m doing really well with my potty schedule and have made great progress in just a short time 🎉 I’m still young, so I’ll keep getting better every day with a little patience and consistency.
I love walks, sniffing around outside, and having something safe to chew on 🌳🐕 (I sometimes think sticks are a good idea on walks… turns out there are better options 😅). I am a strong girlie and prefer a fast-paced walk. I’m still working on being gentle when I see a squirrel because I get so excited. I’m a really good listener and a quick learner, so with continued practice, I will keep growing!
I especially love working on a frozen peanut butter and kibble Kong—it helps me relax and feel calm 🧊🥜
I'm not really one to go out of my way to eat your food off the counter, but if it's at the edge... I might at least make an attempt! Who wouldn't?! 😂
Oh, and I’m kind of a local celebrity already. In just two weeks in my neighborhood, I’ve made lots of fans because I’m so friendly and kind to everyone I meet 🐾💖 People also tell me I have the most beautiful brown coat and the sweetest eyes 🥹✨
Because I care so much about my people, I’m still learning that it’s okay when they leave and that they always come back 💛 I would prefer not to be in a crate, but I’m doing really well spending time in a cozy, smaller room filled with my favorite things (like that Kong I mentioned earlier) and some calm music 🏠✨
I’d also do really well in a home with another friendly dog—it would help me feel more confident and give me company when my humans are away 🐶🐾
More than anything, I’m just a really good girl who wants to love and be loved 🥹❤️ I’ve already come so far, and I’m ready to keep growing with a family who will be patient, kind, and excited to have me by their side 🌈
