Hi everyone! My name is Onyx, and I’m about 12 weeks old and already 23 pounds of pure love! 💕 I’m growing fast, but I am still so cute!
I sleep like a champ in my crate, and I absolutely LOVE everyone I meet. They say I’m calm and sweet, especially with kids, and I couldn’t agree more! Kids are some of my favorite humans. I’ve even visited a few elementary schools where I met students from Kindergarten through 4th grade. I had a BLAST soaking up all the attention, belly rubs, and helping teach them how to be kind to animals and how to pet dogs like me. I take my ambassador duties very seriously. 😉
I’ve had quite a bit of change in my short life. I came from Georgia, where I was sadly dumped at a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, I was rescued and have been in a wonderful foster home for several weeks now. I’m healthy, happy, and so ready to find my forever family, one I hope will be my last.
When I’m around other dogs, I’m all about play, play, play! But when it’s just my humans and me, I’m perfectly content to chill out, relax, and snuggle up for a nap. I think balance is important!
Oh, and one more very important thing, I’ve discovered Pup Cups, and I am a BIG fan. I would greatly appreciate it if those stayed in the regular treat rotation in my forever home, please and thank you. 🍦🐾
