Hi friends! It's me, Maggie!

I'm a big bundle of love and companionship and have even been told I resemble an angel (just see my sweet face and a halo of gold running through my soft chocolate coat). I certainly do my best to live up to it! That's why I have leash manners, am a great listener, and absolutely love fetch time.

You'll notice just how happy I am when we're doing almost anything together by my tail — I mean whole body — wag.

But it's not just activities that make me happy... I also like snoozing on a dog bed or sprawled out on the carpet when fetch time is over 🎾 I'm familiar with my crate, but I don't need it! During the day, I like keeping an eye on my foster mom, hoping to get close for belly rubs or a lay on her lap. At night, I give a little space by sleeping on my dog bed in her room.

I used to live with my family and three dog friends. Then my dad had to move to take care of his mom, and I've been getting along great with my foster brother since. I'd be happy to share a home with another dog, but I'm pretty chill, so a family of humans who love me would suit me just fine too!

Now, a little secret: All of my love has to go somewhere, and you can see me carrying a little extra of it 😅 My foster family and I are working on losing about 10 to 15 pounds, and I'm looking for a walking buddy to help me finish the job!

One more thing: I'm a big girl, and I'm a little unsure about hopping in and out of cars, so right now I need a lift. A family who can help me up (or has a ramp!) would be perfect.

If you want a sweet, snuggly companion, I'd love to meet you and show you why everyone falls for me.

Love,
Maggie 💛
