Do you have a lower activity household with a 6 foot fenced back yard? Then you should meet me!
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that I am dull and not up for activity. But I’m looking for some peeps that just want to watch me exercise versus exercise with me. You throw the ball, I do all the cardio. No need for walking (or jogging) miles and miles a day; just a quick business only walk around the block will do. Just watch me in the yard as I do all the running I need.
Inside the house, I am a dream. I don’t chew what is not mine. I don’t have accidents. I love, love, love my squeaky toys and snuffle mats. I love to learn and would love to play games with you and show off my skills. I adore being with my people and I will consistently smother you with kisses and do goofy things to make you laugh. And, I will be my best if I am your one and only pet!
Outside the house, well, my own welfare is compromised because I can be fearful. What can I say? Things, like other animals, get me excited. We will be happiest if outside distractions are out of sight. Though I still love adventure, I have gotten used to the doors and gates always being closed; I do GREAT with a consistent routine and thrive when my days are predictable. So, while I really like children and am good with them, it is best for me to be in a place with older kids who can understand my needs and remember to keep me safe.
I have shown that once I settle into a stable, consistent household, I do very well, and I’m quite the lover!!
