I may not be the most playful pup on the block, but give me a cozy spot, some cuddles, and a good belly rub, and I’m in heaven. Sure, I’ll chew on a bone or carry around a toy when I get excited—but my real happy place is right next to you, snuggled up and soaking in all the love.
Car rides? Yes, please! I’ll hop right in without a second thought, curl up in the back, and most likely fall asleep before we’ve even left the driveway. It’s one of my favorite ways to relax.
When it comes to potty training, I’ve got that down 100%. No accidents here—I know exactly where to go.When my people leave the house, I might bark a little at first (I mean, I miss you!), but I settle down quickly and usually nap on the couch until you’re back. I’m a pretty chill girl. On the leash, I do pretty well! I might let out a bark or two if I see another dog or person, but I don’t make a big scene and I move along just fine. Honestly, I’ve been getting better at this every day in my foster home, so I think with a little time and trust in my forever home, I’ll only keep improving.
When it comes to food or toys, I’m totally relaxed—no possessiveness here. I’m happy to share with humans or dogs. As for other dogs, I need a few minutes to say hello and get to know them. I might bark a bit at first, especially if someone’s a little too in-my-face like my 1 year old foster brother, but once I’ve had a chance to warm up—like on a pack walk—I can settle in just fine. It will only take me a few minutes and I have never ever shown any aggression! I’m not looking to be the life of the dog park, but I’d be content going with my humans to hang out. What really fills my heart is being around people of any age who want to shower me with affection.
Oh, and cats or chickens? Meh—I hardly notice them. I’m very content living with multiple cats and kittens.
