Hi - Jesse here! I am a beautiful, 3 year old chocolate lab, and I am as sweet as my color.
I am completely house trained and I am truly as well behaved as they come. I know all the necessary commands and listen very well. I have not required a crate since I came to my foster home and I am not destructive in any way. At night I like to start out in bed with my foster people, but as soon as I know they are OK, I move along to my own bed in their room.
I am absolutely in love with tennis balls! If you adopt me, please make sure you have a good supply on hand. The only thing I like more than tennis balls is walking on my leash. I could walk forever and just love looking around, barely stopping to sniff. I also love having my head rubbed - I get so relaxed I sometimes even fall asleep.
I like other dogs, but only when we’re all outside. I love to play with them, but just don’t want to share my house with them, especially since I am so protective of my tennis balls. I greet other dogs on walks with no problem, though!
I'm a gentle soul and good with kids and cats. My foster mom says I am just such a joy to have around. So, if you are looking to add a sweet boy to your family, then I think you should pick me!
