It is with the heaviest of hearts, to share the loss of our beloved and beautiful father, Eugene (Eugie) Wayne Chessen on July 10th, 2020. He fought a ferocious battle with cancer until his final resting moment. While our heartbreak has been incredibly unbearable, it gives us solace to know he is finally at peace. While there are endless words to describe our father, the most important was that he truly was a diamond in the rough. Unwavering and most loving father, husband, papa, brother, uncle and friend to all he so dearly loved. His love was and is immeasurable, especially his love and devotion to all the dogs that traveled this journey with him. His affinity for Labradors was one of his staples and we wanted to honor our father with an organization that was so near and dear to his heart. We are so grateful to be working with MLRR in honor of our beloved father. We know how incredibly grateful he would be.
Pictured, is our father with his beloved Annie and Niki, who had a beautiful litter of babies together and both lived a full beautiful life with my father until the ripe old age of 13. We will continue to honor you with all of his passions and for the rest of my life will search for moments filled with you. I know you are up there with Annie, Niki and all your beloved ones watching over all. We love you so much Dad!
