Gumbo

Hiiii! My name’s Gumbo and I’m a teeny tiny—well, actually kinda jumbo—baby Lab boy.

I love FOOD. If you even think about snacks, my tummy starts singing. Jambalaya, po’ boys, crawfish pie… I don’t know what any of those are yet, but they sound AMAZING and I’m pretty sure I’d like all of them.

 I’m a pretty chill little dude for a puppy. I love to play, but I’m gentle—I don’t nip, and I only chew on my foster mom a tiny bit, and only by accident, I promise. I’m trying super hard to be a good boy. I know I’ll figure everything out soon. I haven’t practiced walking on a leash yet because brrr… Chicago is cold and my baby toes said “no thank you.”

Oh! And my name is Gumbo, like “jumbo,” which is perfect because I think I’m gonna grow into a big, fluffy goofball. If someone out there wants a sweet, silly, snuggly boy who might one day be the size of a small cloud, I’m your pup. Are you the human who wants to love a big ol’ Gumbo?
