Adopted!

Hi I'm Ella, and I'm just a sweetheart all around.  I lost my family in Texas when they got divorced and couldn't keep me, and I was lucky enough to be rescued right away.  As soon as I arrived into Illinois, I melded right into my foster family sharing love and kisses.  I just love being around everyone; people, kids and especially other dogs. In fact, my foster brother, Marty is my favorite friend and playmate! 

People keep saying what a sweetheart I am - I don't know if they're talking about my cute expressive face, petite 60 lb frame and silky soft coat, or my sweet personality and how I sit so nicely. But either way - I love it when they are giving me attention!

My favorite things are chasing, wrestling, and tug-of-war with Marty, chewing on Nylabone type toys, and going on long walks. I am really very good on a leash and my mom says I am a GREAT listener and such a good girl. I'm only two and I've already learned so much! I am very good in my crate overnight and have had zero accidents in the house. I always eat my food right away, but I'm very good about not begging for food or treats.

I like being active and would enjoy living with a family who likes to play with me and take me on walks. I like to lounge on the furniture, but if you don't like that, I think I could learn pretty easily where I should relax instead!

I'm such a nice girl that my foster parents would love to keep me - but... I want to help make another family complete and share my love, and they would love to help another lab in need!  Would you like to be my family?
