I may not need to be right by your side every second, but I really enjoy being close to my humans and knowing you’re nearby. I'm easygoing, low-maintenance, and always eager to please—mostly because it seems to make you happy, and that makes me happy too!
I’ve spent a lot of my life outdoors, and I still really love being outside. If you’ve got a backyard, I’d be thrilled to spend my days lounging in the grass, soaking up the sun. Sometimes I’m a little reluctant to come back in, but if you’ve got a treat and a kind voice, I’m easily convinced.
I’m not a high-energy guy, but I do enjoy walks and meeting new people along the way. I walk politely on a leash and won’t drag you even when I spot a squirrel or bunny (though I definitely notice them!). I can get a little excited and gently jump up to say hello, and sometimes I’ll roll right onto my back to show you my belly—just my way of saying, “Hi, I like you already!”
I know how to sit and shake, take treats very gently, and I’ve been a perfect gentleman with my senior foster sibling. I eat well, respect her space, and I don’t bark or get rowdy. I’m calm in the car, hop right in, and enjoy the ride. At home, I don’t need a crate—I can roam free and be trusted while you’re out. I’m not much for jumping on furniture either.
