Hi everyone, I am Dolly, a sweet and snuggly girlie who loves being around people. I’m just as happy playing fetch or going for a walk as I am loafing on the couch right next to you, and when I say right next to you, I mean the closer the better.
I’m potty trained and when you leave the house I’m totally fine roaming around and napping on the couch until you get back.
I walk nicely but get a little excited about squirrels and smells, so I might pull a bit. A no-pull harness really helps! Because I was found as a stray, my instinct is to still look for snacks on the counter, but with some gentle reminders, and regular meals, I am learning already that food is delivered TO me in a bowl.
I am a pretty quiet girl and share my toys but since I have had a lot of changes in my life, I do need a little time to get used to new pups that I meet. Just give me a day or two to settle in and introduce us gently, and that will make me super comfortable. I sleep best snuggled up with a human and I follow my people everywhere because I just love being close. I will take a pass on loud fireworks but otherwise I’m a pretty chill, happy girl. If you’re looking for a loving and playful best friend, I might be your perfect match.
