Greetings! I’m Chako and I’m so excited to meet my forever family.
I’m an absolute beauty if I do say so myself! I have a luxurious chocolate coat that I will happily let you brush for hours. I also love water and behave like a champ when it’s bath time.
I have the stamina and energy of a pup half my age and love long walks, but also enjoy settling down for a long snuggle after we play. I’ve gotten used to the comfort of a bed and couch so if you’re in agreement, I’m all in on that.
Other good stuff about me: I answer to my name and respond immediately when you call me. My favorite activity is my Chuck-It and I’ll chase balls for days and give them up easily for the next round. I may get excited when we approach other dogs on a walk because I’m a friendly guy who wants to say Hi. I may bark and pull on my leash a bit so you will need to hang on tight until I calm down, which is pretty quick. That said, I love to play with other pups, but do best with a slow introduction. I can be somewhat possessive with my toys but will happily share with other doggos once I get to know them.
I currently have a kittie roommate and we get along just fine… we mostly ignore each other, but if I get too curious, one good hiss puts me back in my place. I am 100% potty trained and can be left alone, sans crate, without causing any ruckus. I understand what items are OK chew (like my toys) and what are not OK (your shoes, furniture, etc)! I do bark occasionally at loud noises or people at the door, but quiet down when I realize there is no threat.
All in all, I am a truly exceptional companion and I know I will be a wonderful addition to your family. Choose ME!
