Hi! I’m Captain or Cap!
I’m the sweetest, goodest boy and I love everyone—people, dogs, kids, cats! I also really love playing fetch! I may be an older pup, but I’ve got the energy and heart of a youngster. I’m always up for walks, hikes, and snowy adventures, but I’m just as happy to relax and get cozy when you need quiet time.
I’m a big guy, but my foster mom calls me a gentle giant. I know several commands, I’m very responsive to your voice, and I’m fully house trained. I sleep through the night and take treats gently. I’m food-motivated like most Labs, but I’m polite: I wait for permission to eat and never bother my senior foster sibling during mealtime.
I can be left alone and do well uncrated. I might bark a bit when I want to meet another dog or when someone walks by the window, but I stop quickly with reassurance. I’ve been friendly with every dog and person I meet, including kids and cats!
I’m a strong walker and can pull a little, but I’m improving every day. I’m feeling great and ready for my next adventure. Let’s meet! I’m so ready for my forever family and all the adventures we’ll share.
