Hi everyone, I’m Buster! 🐾
My family recently had a baby, so I’m looking for a new place to call home. I’m about 1.5 years old, a big fluffy guy (currently working on shedding a few extra pounds!), and I truly love just about everyone I meet.
I’m a sweet, gentle, fun boy—my family says I wouldn’t hurt a fly… not even cats! I warm up quickly to people and have done great with kids, too. I really just enjoy being part of the family and spending time with my people. I will need some help learning how to walk nicely on leash though! My last family didn't have time to put in training with me, so I hope to find a new family who will give me a chance to learn.
I’m also a smart pup—I know how to give “paw”! I like to keep an eye on things around the house and will let you know if someone’s nearby or when a package arrives.
I’m house trained and do my business outside like a champ. I’ve never been destructive, and I’m comfortable hanging out on my own. I’m also kennel trained if you’d like me to relax in my crate, though I’d much rather be out with you.
I’ve got a playful side and love my toys (especially the stuffed ones… they don’t always stay stuffed for long 😄). And yes—there will be some floof around the house, but I promise I make up for it with love. I LOVE to play with other dogs, but do overwhelm my foster siblings sometimes so I think I would be better with dogs who are ready to PLAY!
I may have learned some house rules like staying off furniture, but with a little encouragement, I’m happy to join you for some cozy snuggles. Once I settle in, I love to relax and soak up all the pets.
