Hello there, I’m Buddy! My name suits me very well because I am truly everyone's buddy. I may be a bit timid at first if I have never met you but approach me slowly and I bet you will have my heart within a couple of minutes! I love to give hugs and to rest my whole upper body on you for a snuggle. But don't worry, I never jump and when you tell me to stop doing something you don't like, I usually listen.
I get along great with other dogs and I am so good with children, even the young ones! I may weigh a bit over 70lbs, but I am a gentle giant with lots of love to give.
I am housebroken, but you do have to learn my signs that I need to go out. Oh, and I love to walk on a leash - I rarely pull! I am still learning to like my crate, but I do quiet down after a while and settle in. I am heartworm positive and have just started treatment. But don't let that stop you from adopting me into your home. The rescue will support you and me in this process!
