Hey there! My name is Boomer, and I am ready to find my forever home!
I am still getting used to being inside a house and around people. I love people, and want to make them happy, but I don’t always understand what they want and get nervous I’ll make a mistake. But lots of praise and encouragement has helped me a lot since I’ve been at my foster home!
I enjoy playing with other dogs, and love to run around the yard and to play chase or fetch. I haven’t mastered retrieving, but I love chasing the toy. I’m also good at sharing food, toys, and treats with the other dogs here - just as long as no one tries to take food out of my mouth!
I am potty trained, and do well with a crate - just give me something to keep me busy while I’m in there. I also walk well on a leash. I really enjoy learning new things, and am food motivated, so treats are great to help give me a little extra confidence.
When I make you happy, I am happy. I love to give kisses when I am happy, and warm, cozy places make me extra happy. Give me a safe home, fun activities, and some treats, and we’ll get along great!
