Dislikes: Not having a forever home!
Hi, My name is Bailey or as my foster mom calls me, George Bailey. I am a different dog than I was a month ago. I am currently undergoing treatment for heartworm but am looking for my forever home and am available for MLRR's foster-to-adopt program.
I must not have been allowed in the house much or gone on walks before MLRR rescued me because I am curious about everything and will look to you for assurance. I pee and run back in the house right away. If you stay out to garden or be in the yard, I like to be out. I warm up a little cautiously but then you can become my best friend, especially if you have a tasty treat like liver sausage.
I don't pull on a leash at all and I love meeting other dogs on my walk. I am not a runner I like to stay close to my people. I have run of the house but my foster mom closes off certain rooms when she leaves for work. I am not crazy about a crate at all. I had a few accidents but I am now used to my meds and doing very well. At first I was afraid of the car, but I am getting used to it and I like to lean between the front seats and see what's happening.
My foster mom says I really am an awesome dog who just needs a little time, love and patience. So what do you say? Would you like to have a wonderful life with me?
