I am an older guy with the most youthful spirit you’ve ever seen. Picked up as a stray in Missouri, I made the journey up here in three different vehicles. Talk about a dream come true!
I stay off the furniture and sleep soundly through the night on a nice soft dog bed piled with blankets. Take me for a nice morning walk and I will come home to a peaceful nap in the sun or a chew session with my favorite toy.
I love everyone I meet, insisting on greeting them for pets, leaning in with my whole body, and giving a few quick kisses with the world’s longest tongue. I am curious, playful, soft, and oh so sweet.
I get along great with other dogs and, while super curious about the resident cats, I’m not looking to make them a snack. I'll look out the window to make sure everything is as it should be in the neighborhood, but I'm not a big barker. My foster surmises that I haven’t spent much (if any) time on a leash, so I do need work on that! I am also on some daily arthritis medication, but it doesn’t slow me down much at all.
