Hi everyone! My name is Trixie, and I recently came from Kentucky. 🤠 I'm hoping to find my perfect forever home.
Everyone I meet tells me what a sweet, calm girl I am. My absolute favorite thing is snuggling up next to my humans and soaking up all the pets and love. 🥰
I know how to sit for treats (and trust me... I LOVE treats! 🍖). Another one of my favorite activities is going for car rides. My foster dad puts a nice, soft dog bed in the back seat, and as soon as I hop in, I curl up for a nap. 😴 I'm so quiet that he sometimes has to look back just to make sure I'm still there!
Walks are another favorite of mine! My foster dad says I'm in the top 10% of dogs when it comes to walking on a leash. 🚶♀️🐕 I think that's because I don't pull or drag him around—I just enjoy strolling by his side.
I'm also completely house-trained and have wonderful manners. I never potty in the house, and there's no need to crate me when you're away. I'm a trustworthy girl who is perfectly happy relaxing until you come home. At bedtime, I'll curl up on my dog bed and sleep peacefully through the night. 🌙💤
Earlier this year, I had puppies, and as much as I loved being their mom, I'm ready for a chapter that's all about me. ❤️ My daughters, Luna and Raven, have both found their forever homes, and now it's my turn!
I've spent my whole life living on a farm, where different dogs would come and go. Because of that, I'm still learning that other dogs can be friends. Right now, I'm happiest as the only resident pup in the home. I'm not reactive or aggressive toward other dogs—I simply enjoy having my own space while I continue building confidence and trust. With patience and love, I may continue to grow, but for now, I'd love to be your one-and-only best friend. 🩷 I'm not much of a barker, even when other dogs are barking at me. I usually just ignore the commotion. 🐶✨
