I’m a sweet Southern girl who was found as a stray in Georgia. When the shelter took me in, they discovered I was heartworm positive, but don’t worry—I’ve already gone through treatment and now I only take one tiny pill every other day while I finish recovering. 💊✨
My foster mom says I’m the prettiest brown girl with happy golden eyes, and I have to admit, I do love making people smile! 🌟👀 Since she thinks I may have spent most of my life outdoors, I’m learning all about living inside a home. So far, I’ve mastered sit, I come running when I’m called (with my tail wagging the whole way!), and I’m doing really well on walks. 🦮🐕
I’ll confess—I get a little distracted when I spot a bird or squirrel. 🐿️🐦 But after a quick look, I get right back to business!
Because I’m recovering from heartworm treatment, I have to take it easy for now. That means no rough play, doggy wrestling, or games of fetch. But that doesn’t stop me from entertaining myself! 😄 My favorite games include stealing my foster mom’s flip-flops and proudly showing them off so she can admire my treasure. 🩴😂 I also love carrying my Kong upstairs, dropping it down to the bottom of the stairs, and then racing after it. My foster mom thinks I’m hilarious—and honestly, I agree! 🎾🏃♀️
More than anything, I love being close to my people. If you’re sitting down, there’s a very good chance I’ll be right beside you... or even in your lap! 🥰❤️ I’m a champion cuddler and I hand out plenty of sloppy dog kisses. 😘🐶
Since I’m still learning house manners, my foster mom thinks I’d do best with older kids (around 10+ and up so I don't knock anyone over) or adults. I get excited and sometimes jump up to ask for attention, but I’m working hard on keeping all four paws on the floor. 🐾📚
At night, I sleep in my crate like a good girl while I continue learning the rules of indoor living. 💤🏠 Every day I become a little more confident, a little more polished, and a little closer to being the amazing companion my foster mom knows I can be.
