Adopted!
Hey Y'all! I'm Moose. I am from "Big D", Dallas Texas! I was on my own as a stray and ended up in a shelter. A very nice lady rescued me and arranged to transport me up here to MLRR so I can find my forever family.
I am not used to this cold weather, but I do love to go on long walks. I am very good on a leash, I love to play with other dogs, and I am very gentle, so I would be good with kids, too! I am house trained, so I know to go outside to go potty. I am still young, a little over 1 year old, so I need someone to keep an eye on me to make sure that I don't chew on anything that I am not supposed to. I am not fond of the crate, mostly because I want to be with my people all of the time, but I could learn to be OK with the crate for short periods of time.
I hope to find a family that has someone who is home most of the time so I can cuddle and play with them. I love to snuggle on the couch and sleep in the big people bed at night. If you work from home, I will gladly lay by (or on) your feet and nap until you have time to go for a walk with me.
