Hi there, I'm Mae. I’m a chocolate lab and everyone I meet tells me I’m such a beauty! I absolutely love being with the humans and resident dog at my foster home as well as everyone I meet!
Until recently, I was in a very different world. I had just delivered a litter of 10 puppies when I was given a chance at a new life. It was a lot of change, but I’m getting used to being a family dog - and I LOVE to snuggle with the humans!
I do have to go in my crate when no one is home because I like to explore, and by explore, I mean search for food. Man, there’s some good stuff in this foster home! I discovered some delicious bread on the counter, but at least I shared it with the resident dog, who I get along with extremely well!
I’ve learned so much since I’ve been here! I was scared of the stairs at first, but now I bound up and down them with ease. I’m a little nervous getting in and out of a car, but I have figured out that car rides are super fun! I know that I am supposed to do my business outside, and I am getting quite good at letting the humans know when it’s time.
I love meeting other dogs, people, and kids. I like playing chase with other dogs, but I especially love to nuzzle up with kids and the rest of my foster family. Once I figured out how to jump up on the bed, I have slept right next to my foster mom. Did I mention that I like to snuggle?
