Biggie & Smalls

Adopted!

Yo yo, check it out! My name is Biggie (I live up to my name at 110lbs) and my sis over here goes by Smalls. We didn't choose the snuggle life, the snuggle life chose us! The belly rubs from our Big foster Poppa are where it’s at.

Throw those tennis balls in the air and I'll truly play all day! Fetch is the game for me. Oh! And car rides, gimme all of that!! After some fun and adventure, I love to lay at your feet while you work and whatever your interests are, they're mine now too.

But you better know this right off the bat. Smalls and I are total BFFs! Our foster family says we’re a “bonded pair”; I don’t know what that means, but I do know that we will always stay together and will always have each other’s backs!

And now, I turn the mic over to my best friend…

What time is it? Time to introduce myself! I go by Smalls, "little" sis to Biggie. And if you think she's about the snuggle life, wait until you get next to me. Aaahh, those belly rubs just make me melt at your feet! Speaking of feet, that's where you’ll get to know me best because I'll sit right on ’em waiting for pets.

Biggie may make us sound like the best dogs ever, but we do have some quirks that you oughta know.

This is a little embarrassing, but when I get excited, especially meeting new people, I might piddle a little. It is getting better as I get used to new things. Also, I may take a bit to get comfortable with new dogs, surroundings, and stuff, but I generally get along great with everyone in the crew.

And watch out for Biggie and her giant paws! She’s somehow figured out how to open doors with a lever handle!?!

Oh, yeah – we might like to chew on soft things … so please don’t leave those taunting pillows, socks, and blankets out while you leave us alone. But, give me a plush toy, and I’m happy!

By the way, we have fallen in love with the kiddos in our foster home! They are so much fun, and we are sure to be gentle with them; they literally lounge on us, and we could not be happier!

As we were found as strays wandering the woods in Iowa, we are still adjusting to this pampered indoor life, as well as the rules! Like these leashes – ugh! We are used to running free, but we are starting to learn how to deal. And, if you leave food out on the counter, why can’t we jump up there and grab it? But…we are really smart and learn super quickly, so you’ll just have to spend a little more time teaching us the right manners and be patient while we learn to adjust to a totally new way of life. We’re pretty sure you’ll be thankful you did 😉
