Hey everyone, I’m Pete, but my foster family calls me Perfect Pete, and honestly, I think they’re onto something!
I’m a young, handsome chocolate guy with a big ol’ head, a shiny coat, and a heart bursting with love. I’m a happy, easygoing guy who loves everyone I meet: people, dogs, you name it! I’m super affectionate and my favorite thing in the world is snuggling. I mean really snuggling! I might crawl right on top of you just to make sure you know how much I love you.
I’m a good sleeper at night too and my favorite place is in bed next to you. I am crate trained though and do well in there if you need to be gone a little while from me. I’m also potty trained, walk nicely on a leash, and I’m not reactive to other dogs. I listen really well and already know a few easy commands. I ride great in the car, too, window down, ears flapping, running errands with my foster family, living my best life!
I love to play fetch in the backyard, chew on a bone and play with all kids of stuffed animals. Since I’m young, this keeps me entertained for hours. But once I’m done, I’m perfectly content to curl up next to you (or on you 😅) for some serious cuddle time. My fosters also think I’d like water and swimming, but I have not done too much of that.
People say I’ve got a big, lovable head and kind eyes. I’m still a little skinny right now, but I’ve got big paws and a strong frame, so I’ll fill out soon. Just need a little time, love, and treats! I’m a gentle loving soul who’s ready to find my forever family, one that loves fetch, belly rubs, and couch snuggles as much as I do. I promise to be the sweetest, most loyal companion you could ever ask for. If you’re looking for a good boy who will love you with endless cuddles, I could be your guy. 💕
