Hi! I'm Perry!
I’m a sweet chocolate chunk looking for my forever family! I recently came from Missouri after my previous owner became very ill and made the loving decision to help me find a new home.
My foster mom says I’m resilient. I think that means I’m a very good boy! I’m house-trained and love getting out for long walks. I’m pretty interested in squirrels, so I’ll need a little guidance there but I have a cool harness that makes walking me a breeze. I’d make a great hiking buddy, and I’m game to try swimming too, adventures and new smells are the best!
I’m very food-motivated and use a slow-feeder bowl and I’ve tried counter surfing before, but I learn quickly and know that’s not a cool way to get snacks.
During the day, I’m happy to snooze nearby while you work, and in the evenings I might curl up at your feet or watch the world from the window. I get along wonderfully with my furry foster sister and respect her space when she needs it.
I love if when you pet me, I will roll over for belly rubs, and I have incredibly soft fur. Being brushed might be one of my favorite things! I also enjoy cuddling and giving kisses. I’ve been told I like playing ball, though the weather hasn’t let me show off yet, let’s change that soon!
