Hi there! I'm Molly, and I'm here to tell you that your life needs more chocolate, specifically, me! I am back with MLRR because my new family didn't think I was a good fit for them.
So here's my story: I was found wandering around as a stray, but honestly? I think the universe was just guiding me to find YOU. Since landing in foster care, I've been learning what it means to be someone's best friend, and spoiler alert, I'm pretty amazing at it.
Let me paint you a picture of our life together: Mornings start with enthusiastic hellos (okay, I might get a little mouthy when I'm excited, I'm working on it!). Then we grab that tennis ball and play fetch until my tail is wagging so hard I might take flight.
Car rides? I'm your girl! Buckle me up and let's go on adventures. When we get home, I'll snooze the day away like the professional napper I am, and by evening, I transform into the ultimate snuggle buddy. Couch? Yes please! That's where you'll find me, probably sprawled across your lap.
Now, I have to be honest, I still have some puppy energy! That means I've am always curios about what's on your counters (seriously, what ARE you hiding up there?). Sometimes I forget that your shoes aren't toys and that open doors aren't invitations to explore the neighborhood. I'm learning though!
My foster family says I'm getting better at sitting and calming down when guests arrive. Oh, and about those squirrels... Listen, I can walk like a perfect lady on a leash until one of those fluffy-tailed demons appears. So, best I stick to my front clip harness that the nice people at MLRR gave me! I do have some apprehension about coyotes at night (they do NOT belong in our neighborhood), but otherwise, I'm not much of a barker.
The best part? I LOVE other dogs! My foster brother and I are basically best friends. We tug, we wrestle, we play all day long. If you've got a pup at home, I promise we'll be besties. I also love attention, so I'm happy to be the only dog in the house.
Here's something important: I have heartworm, but before you worry, MLRR has already taken care of everything! Treatment is completely paid for at one of our vet partners and is super easy. It won't stop me from being your loyal companion. I will just need to take it easy for a few weeks but once I am done with treatment, I will be as good as new!
I know I'm not perfect. I've got puppy quirks that need patience and training. But what I lack in polish, I make up for in love, loyalty, and an endless supply of kisses. I'm completely potty trained (zero accidents!), I love to snuggle, and I'm great with other animals. So what do you say?
