Hi, this is Kali! I am a sweet, petite little lady weighing just 37 lbs. I am kid and cat friendly ! I have been very respectful and cautious with the cats in my foster home. I also love other dogs and just want to play. I usually follow my foster family around the house. I am timid around men, so guys - please approach me gently and I will gradually warm up to you.
I am about a year old so I still have a good amount of puppy energy - I get the zoomies a couple times a day where I sprint circles around the backyard, especially if you pretend to “chase” me. If you throw a ball for me, I will run after it and back to you - leaving the ball behind, so I just need that game explained to me a bit more. I haven’t been interested in bones or other toys yet. I am really good on a leash, I trot along at a nice pace with my curly tail up and wagging as I go.
I am very quiet - have only barked a couple times while playing outside. I spend most of the day and evening napping on a loveseat. When my foster family leaves or goes to bed, I go into a crate. I am good in the crate overnight, but do start whimpering as it starts getting light outside, and I’m just SO excited to come out and see everyone again!
