Hello there! My name’s Teddy, and I’m an awesome dog. I’m a yellow lab, and not only am I a total heartthrob, but I’m also sweet, loving, and full of charm.
I flew all the way from a rescue in Korea, and life in the U.S. has been amazing so far. I’m about 4 years old and I’ve mastered the art of napping and lounging with my humans. But don't be fooled, I also love to run, play, and enjoy a good game of fetch in an enclosed yard.
My foster family is teaching me commands in English, and it’s going really well since I get treats when I do the right thing! I also love the harness MLRR gave me, and my foster family says I do great on a leash.
I’m a gentleman in the house—well-behaved and mainly housebroken. Every now and then, I just need a little reminder to go outside, but I catch on quickly. I’ve also learned that if I sit quietly during dinner time, I get a treat afterward. How cool is that?
I don’t jump on people or try to snatch food off the counter, but I do enjoy helping out with the pre-wash cycle on the dishwasher. I’m always eager to lend a paw!
When it comes to car rides, I’m an enthusiastic passenger. I’m still working on jumping up, so I find it easier to hop into the backseat. You see, in Korea, I was tied by my back legs, and they’re still healing. The vet says I have no damage to my hips or knees, though, so I’ll be just fine.
I love chasing balls and even retrieve them—unlike the resident dog, who runs away with them!
People are my absolute favorite—kids, adults, all humans really. If there’s a human in the house, I’ll be right by their side.
Now, all I need is to find my forever home, where I can settle in and continue being the best companion ever. Would you like to be my best friend?
