Available to Adopt!
I’m a sweet, curious, and playful pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for life! My brother, Kirk, and I were found abandoned and starving on a hiking trail in Missouri. It was a scary time being out there alone, but we stuck together until help arrived. Now, I’m safe, warm, and finally getting to be the happy, playful pup I was always meant to be!
I’m housebroken, which means I’m really good at letting you know when I need to go outside to do my business. I’ll whine when I need out, and I’m quick to get back inside once I’m done!
I’m crate trained too! I’ll happily go into my crate when it’s time to sleep or chew on toys and treats, and I don’t mind being in there when the door is open. At night, though, I prefer sleeping outside of the crate on the couch, where I can rest peacefully through the night without any problems.
I walk well on a harness, though I do tend to pull a little, so I could use some more practice. I don’t bark much, and when I’m wrestling with my brother or playing, I stick to chewing on dog toys and on each other.
I’m not really food motivated, so I’m more interested in attention and fun activities than treats! However, I’m getting better at learning new things like sitting on command, especially when a treat is involved!
While I’m confident in public places, I do get scared of loud noises like garbage trucks. When that happens, I put my ears back and tuck my tail between my legs until the sound goes away.
I’m also great in the car! I stay in the back seat and enjoy the ride without any whining.
I love snuggling up for cozy naps, chasing squeaky toys, or exploring the backyard for new adventures. Every day with people has been a new, exciting experience, and my tail wags non-stop because of it!
I’m ready for a forever home where I can keep growing, learning, and loving. Could that be with you?
