Hi, I’m Prince 🐾
I’m all the way from Louisiana, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I love to love 💛 Seriously, I’m the kind of guy who will lean into you, follow you around, and give you as many kisses as you’ll allow (and maybe a few extra if you’re not paying attention 😘). I just can’t help it—I’ve got a big heart, and I like to share it.
I’m a really easygoing, happy boy 😊 I get along great with adults, kids, and other dogs. I’ve been living with my foster sister, and we’ve been getting along very well. I’m also a bit of a pro when it comes to the basics: I walk nicely on a leash, ride great in the car 🚗, and I actually love my crate. It’s my cozy little space where I can relax and feel safe 💤
Now, I do have something important to share—I’m heartworm positive. I’ve already started my treatment and had my first injection, and I’m being really brave about it 💪🐶 I’ll need a home that can help me continue my care and recovery, but I promise I’m worth it. My next vet visit is on May 7th in Naperville, so I hope my family will make sure to get me there (but guess what—MLRR is paying for everything! I just need my new family to give me a ride 🚙).
I’m still the same sweet, loving boy—I just need a little extra support right now by keeping me calm and giving me nice leash walks while I heal for the next few weeks 🌿
Oh, and one more thing… I have this adorable habit of letting my tongue stick out when I’m relaxing or sleeping 😛 I don’t even realize I’m doing it, but I’ve been told it melts hearts instantly. I guess you could say I’ve got a little extra charm ✨
