My foster mom says whoever adopts me is going to be the luckiest person ever because I’m pretty special. I’m a tall girl (my nose is almost level with the kitchen counter!), but don’t worry — I’m not a counter surfer. I just like to sniff whatever’s cooking… you know, just in case it’s for me!
My favorite place to be? Curled up on the sofa, cuddling with my foster mom and her daughter — she’s my new BFF. I melt for neck and chest scratches, and I’ll never turn down a good belly rub either. When I’m outside, I love playing with balls and I really love chasing sticks. It’s the best!
I used to go to doggie daycare three days a week to burn off some of my younger-girl energy, and now I enjoy three nice long walks every day. I’m working on my leash manners — sometimes I forget my foster mom is at the other end because there are just so many exciting smells and sights! But I’m a smart girl and get right back on track with a gentle reminder.
My foster mom keeps waiting to discover some kind of bad habit… but so far, she hasn’t found a single one. I’m completely house-trained, I don’t chew on things I shouldn’t, and I don’t even need a crate. When she’s away, I just snooze on the sofa and wait patiently for her to come home.
I’m extra gentle when taking treats — so gentle that sometimes my foster mom has to double-check her hand to make sure I actually took it! I also love car rides. Honestly, I’m just happy to go wherever my people are going.
Sometimes I bark when I see people out on walks — I just want to say hello and see if they’d like to meet me. I’m a friendly girl with a lot of love to give.
