Hi Everyone, I am Harper!
I am the proud mama to the sweetest babies you have all been watching online over the last several weeks. But guess what, they are all doing up for adoption very soon which means it will be my turn to find my forever home!
A few things about me: First, I need to get spayed and heal a bit before I will be ready to go! I would LOVE not to have another litter of puppies, thank you very much. But also, I just learned that I have Heartworm. This... isnt' what I was hopeful for. Heartworm positive status just means my previous owner did not love me enough to keep me on prevention. So, the nice people at MLRR have already started me on treatment and I will need a few months until I am totally healed. Don't worry too much about me, healing just means I need to stick to leash walks only to keep my HR down until my vet gives me the green light to play again!
While I am waiting for my forever home, I hope someone is out there planning to adopt me and give me the life I desperately deserve!
